And an hour long conversation really means something; most conversations with people/strangers (most consistently throughout my own days) are ten to fifteen minutes long unless they're in Zoom land or at my money job, and that's generous already. Inside that, I'm always left wishing I got to hear more from the folks I'm around, and experience a feeling where myself and another are having a grounded, full, and focused conversation. To take a full hour and simply chat with one person about our surroundings and the world we're moving through is a rarity and something truly special, and that something was woven out of our conversation that I returned to my spot the next day after a gentle invitation towards the end of the conversation, and reflect upon it, was quite special. I hung up the phone more open to the world as I passed through it for the rest of my Wednesday, and with a good deal more optimism not only about said world, but how I exist in relation to it.
