Selye says that specific sensors cause specific reactions in the body. The General Adaption Syndrome is the three stages of responses to stress that the body produces.
Stage1: Alarm Stage is the body's first stage of response to a stresser. This stage is also called the "fight or flight" reaction. During this stage, your heart starts to pound, breaths quicken, sweat starts, and you begin to be flooded with emotions. Your body is trying to get ready to find a solution to the stressor.
Stage 2: Resistance stage is the second stage. During this stage, your body tries to return to a calm/ normal state, this may include restoring energy and repairing any damage that may have occurred during stage 1.
Stage 3: Exhaustion stage is the third and final stage. During this stage, your heart rate begins to slow to conserve energy, as well as your respiration. During this stage, and individual may experience kidney disease, heart disease, allergic conditions, digestive disorders, and depression. Resources begin to be depleted in your body, and you begin to feel exhausted.

I get very bad anxiety attacks. Anxiety can be triggered by anything, but for an example scenario, My fiance just broke up with me for a false accusation. I am packing his belongings, and get thrown into an anxiety attack. Anxiety attacks can sometimes be very draining to my body. When I first encounter an anxiety stressor, I begin stage one. Normally I try to take deep breaths in order to stop it from progressing further. If I reach stage 2, I try to breathe, and normally when I hit stage 2, I can not pull myself out of an attack alone. When someone is with me, mainly my close friends and family, they normally know how to talk me down. If I reach stage 3, I end up feeling depressed, and I just want to go to sleep. I can feel myself feeling drained, and all I want to do is go to sleep. When I wake up, I feel very weak, and not 100%. My process does not always work, and if I am alone, I know I will not be able to work through the attack, and end up
