The video is effective at showing how sad of a time this is for Urie. It is able to depict the end of his bachelor life as a somber moment that will be cherished. He first uses pathos in line 11, "Letting the water fall." The water that Urie is referencing are his tears; he is letting his tears fall. The next time we see pathos is in line 15, "Happily ever after." Urie is saying that he is bound for a happy life, if the bachelor side of him dies. The next and final use of pathos is in lines 20-24, "Feels like my heart is going to burst/ Alone at a table for two and I just wanna be served/ And when you think of me am I the best you've ever had?/ Share one more drink with me, smile even though you're sad/ I'm walking the long road, watching the sky fall." Urie feels like his heart is about to explode in his chest. He is also sitting all by himself at a table that was meant for two people; showing how lonely the bachelor life is.
