The overall answer is that teachers and students need tools that will allow them to collaborate and remove language barriers. Teachers: be familiar with the tool. Example: using zoom live language interpreters. This can be live audio or through captions.

Teachers should include visuals and background context and knowledge.

Allow assessments and materials in students native languages. We can use DeepL Translator to translate the written materials. This tool is not perfect, allow space for feedback in their native languages. Example: English speakers can edit or provide feedback on accuracy of translations.
