While Kilpsinger is singing this song Nick looks over at Gatsby and sees the huge smile plastered across his face.
This shows how Gatsby feels towards  daisy and how is attitude changes when he is with her.  
This song in the book showed the underlying theme of the book which was materialism, throughout the book.

This song quote can also show how Gatsby is feeling when he sees Daisy with Tom.
        This song in the book gave reference to how the obsession that Gatsby had over Daisy.

These lyrics in the song describe the way that Gatsby would feel about Daisy.
It shows that Gatsby would do anything for Daisy because he loves her.

Cee Lo is in the position of Gatsby and Daisy is the girl he is talking about in the song.  Tom Got to marry Daisy and Gatsby is jealous. The part about the change in his pocket is because no on e sees Gatsby as equal to them because he didn't earn his money the same way they did.
