         <description><![CDATA[<div>Must confess that I’m not super familiar with issues around aquatic resources.&nbsp; Of the projects in the report, GerminoFY18 is the only one I’m familiar with and it addresses upland water availability for plants.&nbsp; I can say that it helped provide evidence about the potential value of the drought forecasting tool, which is now being supported and used by BLM.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Of the aquatic ecosystems projects that were listed in the synthesis document, the only one I am aware of is the Sorel project (Spring Chinook study in the Wenatchee Basin), which one of our member tribes (Yakama) is involved with. There may be others being used by CRITFC or tribal staff, though. Overall, a great set of projects although it would appear only ~20% of them are located in the Columbia River Basin, which is our focal area.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>WDFW has on-going work regarding stream temperature monitoring in both our Fish and Habitat Programs. To-date that work has largely focused on documenting current temperatures, however, looking forward we do have some funding to emphasis projecting future stream temps. There has been increasing recognition that the NoRweST stream temps are chronically underestimating / forecasting the stream temps in specific areas of WA. For the regionally-based staff it is hard for them to track all of the different simultaneous efforts regarding stream temperature monitoring / forecasting as they are often done watershed by watershed.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
