In this piece i have used dull tones in creases to make it look realistic. I have used different shades of pencils to make it look 3D. Also i have used faint lines to create highlights.

In this piece of double sided work, i have used color to create texture and tone that mimics the artist Marcia Baldwin. This piece is realistic because of the tone and textures i have used. It is about natural forms. The media i have worked with is oil pastel to blend the tones and create the realistic tones and shadows. The work has been composed on a thin outline of brown sugar paper and is on a plain pink/white background to make the primary colors on the drawing pop.

The work is about Naural form's,. The media I have chosen to work in is Oil pastel, this is so I can blend my colours in to create lots of tones. The piece I have created looks realistic, becasue I have added shadows and highlights and added lines to show form.

In this piece i have used three different pencils that have different tones . I have also blended in from dark to light from top to bottom to make it look kind of 3D.

In my Marcia Baldwin work i have used bright colours to make it stand out. I have used Oil pastels to make the colours smoothly blend in together to create different tones. The piece i have created looks realistic as the light colours shows the high lights.

In this piece of work, i have used different color pencils for my leave. I have also blended the colors together by overlying them over together and at the sides of the leave, i have added some shadows to make it look realistic.

In this piece i have have used valid and different types of oil pastels to smooth every colour into each other. Also i have used allot of white to make it blend in and make it stand out.

In this piece i have once again done a double sided piece of work. This work is about drawing a primary piece of natural form drawing with pencil. The work re-imagines an apple in natural form with tonal pencil. I started at the top of the apple's outline using strokes that resemble the natural from of an apple. The drawing is in a 3D style and makes me feel like eating the apple. The rough textures of the apple have been mimicked by the thick shading of the pencil to create a rugged and more realistic texture.

i aim to now further my work experimenting with printing i could do this by crating a lino print into watercolor background into fabric and stitch into areas to show a different texture and more detail.

In this piece i have used acrylic paint to recreate Marcia's paintings of plants. The painting is realistic so it seems that there are no hidden meanings behind the drawing. This painting is secondary as i have recreated a drawing with my own style. The paintings are on a plain background which makes the drawings smooth with the background as they are faint colors. The main feature that draws attention to itself is the butterfly which houses very strong colors that clash with the sun flower. This piece achieves its purpose of recreating the drawings.

This piece of work has used glue spreader to add texture to the background and tree. This piece is not a realistic drawing as it is distorted and is not color accurate, however, it is recreating the style of Laurie's drawings. The main feature of big blue tree stands out as it clashes with the colors of the paintings smooth background.
