Richard Thompson who receives little mainstream attention has been featured on Rolling Stone's list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time and hold's multiple albums on the same publications 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. I really wanted to write this because I believe more people should know of this hidden gem. For anyone viewing this it is suggested but not required that one listens to the songs suggested in the text to get the full idea of some of the song descriptions.
