The way I reflect on the completion of this task may be broken down into three stages: before, during, and after. For the step that came before this one, the task is to select the training requirements that need to be emphasised to develop a training module that can be used by both trainees and coaches. Even though this option was already known in assignment 1, it is necessary to specify it to make it easier for our group to come up with ideas that will constitute an operational training module. Completing the training modules that are outlined in the rubric is the difficulty that needs to be addressed at this stage. We have had a comprehensive conversation about this part to guarantee that it is in accordance with the standards that are objective and the influence that it will have on the workforce. Following that, we took part in a presentation in front of the instructor to receive comments on the work that we had completed.

The use of AI technologies has been helpful in providing general concepts from the rubric that was provided. This has the potential to assist our group in coming up with better ideas to finish this group assignment. Using PDF Chat, we have been able to summarise each document that we utilise to gain a deeper understanding of it.

From this assignment, I have learned the importance of a structured training program in enhancing customer service skills, particularly in the fast-paced environment of a coffee shop. During the presentation, I took part in explaining the module for effective order-taking skills, where I highlighted the role of clear communication and proper order verification in reducing errors. I also contributed to the discussion on strategies for multitasking and time management, emphasizing practical exercises like simulated peak-hour scenarios. Through this experience, I gained insight into how identifying specific challenges, such as knowledge gaps, miscommunication, and time management, can guide the design of a targeted training module. Additionally, I now understand how to structure training objectives and create practical solutions, such as role-playing scenarios and real-world simulations, to help trainees develop critical skills like active listening, empathy, and multitasking. This assignment also reinforced the significance of feedback and evaluation in refining skills and improving performance, which are crucial to maintaining high service standards. Overall, it deepened my appreciation for how effective training can lead to better customer experiences and operational efficiency.

The after stage involved presenting our training module to the instructor and peers for feedback. This was a valuable opportunity to refine our work and gain insights into the practical application of training techniques. Receiving constructive feedback highlighted areas for improvement and deepened my understanding of designing structured On-the-Job Training (SOJT) modules. Overall, this assignment broadened my perspective on structured training and its impact in a workplace setting. It helped me improve my problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills while giving me practical experience in module development. Assessing my work using the provided rubrics helped me recognize that while my objectives were clear and relevant, I need to improve on creating more interactive elements in future assignments.
