This book has been reviewed as more controversial than Fifty Shades of Grey. The movie has been rumored to have a movie adaptation and has a public list of cast that will be acting in the adaptation. John green is the writer of Looking for Alaska. The book was based around his life, about another person that died while he was a student at Indian Springs <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

He has written many books like Fault in our stars that has a movie adaptation, and also Paper towns, that also has a movie adaptation. John also has a YouTube channel called vlog brothers that he started with his brother in 2007. 


2.	Looking for Alaska is his first novel, it won the Michael l. Printz award. It was banned because of its profanity and sexually explicit content


3.	The book is about him in Highschool, and his experiences as a student.

4.	The book has been made into a 8 episode series on hulu, it hasn’t been released yet

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>John Green’s Background.</strong></div><div>1.     Who is John Green? </div><div>John Green is the New York Times best selling author of Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, The Fault in our Stars and Trutles all the way dow. He’s one half of the Vlogbrothers on youtube and co-creator of educational series crash course. He is also the coauthor, with David Levithan, of Will Grayson, Will Grayson. He was the 2006 recipient of the Michael L. Printz Award, a 2009 Edgar Award winner, and has twice been a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. Green’s books have been published in more than 55 languages and over 24 million copies are in print. John is also an active Twitter user with more than 5.4 million followers.</div><div>2.     Why was the book banned?</div><div>The book was banned for having explicit content, meaning sexual behavior, drug usage and cuss words. It was banned in all schools of america and in permission to use it you have to send home permission slips to the parents so they can contemplate what they want their kids to read.</div><div>3.     Is the book based on John’s life experience?</div><div>The novel is heavily based off John Green's early life. As he explains, "I myself was once a guy from Florida who was obsessed with the dying words of famous people and then left home to attend a boarding school in Alabama." He goes on to explain that while the novel is fictional, the setting is not. </div><div>4.     Will the book be made into a film or tv series?</div><div>Yes there will be a tv series about looking for Alaska, and they just announced the actors for the leading roles last October.          <title>Looking for alaska


1.	John Michael Green is an American author and vlogger, he is born in Indianapolis August 24, 1997.  After moving a bit with his family and attending a lot of schools such as , Glenride middle school, Lake Highland preparatory school in Orlando, Indian Springs School and finally graduating from Kenyon College in 2000. 

2.	 His first book Looking for Alaska  got hit number one on a list of controversial books in 2015, although he got a report about the book for having too  „offensive language“ and „ unsuitable religious“ he didn´t let it stop him and still fought for the book telling them that you can´t just read one page of a book and get the book banned without reading more that that on particular page.


3.	John got his inspiration for his book Looking for Alaska based on his years as a teenager in High school

4.	The book has been made into several episodes.

What usually happens with Looking for Alaska is that a parent chooses one page of the novel to send to an administrator and then the book gets banned without anyone who objects to it having read more than that one particular page”. </div><div> </div><div>3.    Is the book based on John’s life experience?</div><div><br>The book is a teen romance inspired by his experiences at Indian Springs, fictionalized as Culver Creek Preparatory High School. Indian Springs is the main inspiration for Looking for Alaska.</div><div> </div><div>4.    Will the book be made into a film /tv series? </div><div> <br>It’s estimated that a Hulu tv series will be made for Looking for Alaska.
