This fell was particularly tricky as it was along side a busy road and school. We had to dismantle an fell this tree because it appeared to be rotting an had to come down. During summer, these trees can let off a lot of dust which means we have to wear masks. However, during the winter months it doesn't occur as much. The tree in which we were working on was on a busy footpath. Many tourists made it hard to complete the job, as they gathered to make their way to Buckingham Palace. The job was in a back garden which had a narrow side entrance that led to the chipper. When working on a house job, it is important to take extra care and speak professionally whilst on site. It was different because we had to hire a large crane to hoist the climber to do the job. This is because there was possible nesting bats in the tree, so we had to lower the large ash limbs carefully. We also had a bat specialist on site to inspect the tree once it was lowered.
