         <description><![CDATA[<div>V.I.S.T<br><strong>Variation-</strong> A mutation of the DMRT3 gene altered the way that a horse trots, shifting its gait from the diagonal-pair trot to the same-side amble. Discovered in 2012</div><div><strong>Inheritance-</strong>Sex selection is highly desirable for horse breeders. Sperm can be sorted by X and Y chromosomes, improving the sex selection through unreal fertilization. Flow cytometry measures DNA in cells and it sort sperm, but it is also time-consuming and it damages sperm, leading to great losses during the procedure.<br><strong>Selection-</strong></div>]]></description>
