Part 2:

1.: I would, might as well go out with a bang
2: People have intrinsic value with nature and earth as we know it
3: Earth survived a catastrophic meteor and still survived and created life, it will rebuild itself.

PArt 3:

1: I feel I am more anthropocentric than non-anthropocentric, but I do have qualities of both. As much as I see natural materials as resources, we must keep our intrinsic value of life
2: Major national parks and ancient ruins. We can use those areas for important research and shouldn't disrupt it
3: Presure unimpaired the natural and cultural resources for enjoyment, education, and inspiration

PArt 4:

1: I think humans fit on par with nature. Nature and I exist together, so we must keep doing it together

3: I do not think we should, unless something gets dire such as overpopulation in which we need to destroy "sacred land"

4: Yes, like with stated above, and I feel there should be regulations on naturally occuring drugs and substances

1: Missive weapons because of their impact on land and nature,  and I feel big buildings due to their obstruction of land

  5. Some differences are with 3 and 4, ones only a "holdback" while the other is pure prohibitory

Part 7:

1: Using cost benifit can be used for issues such as energy, tools, weapons,  and inventions
2: Is it fair to nature and to animals and fair to us
3: non-anth people will have their costs be all intrinsic, while anth people will have their costs about manufacturing

For me, I want to bring a child into this world if I can provide it , but in light of everything changing, I may not want to.

How does this trailer emphasize connection and fragmentation mentioned in the intro video?

The trailer shows that a lot of people spend too mucg time on social media, and that technology use s not always positive or good. I do spend a lot of time of technology and I can see the habits affecting me. the fact we have access to everything makes it hard to unplug as it has become a necessity.

Part 3:

Reflection questions: What are the benefits and drawbacks of a system that detects and classifies faces? What ethical problems do you see with the failure to identify certain faces? Why can’t an algorithm/a machine be neutral? What are your thoughts about the costs of giving up your image or your data? What opportunities exist for creating a more just society using Buolamwini’s research?

The benefits of a system that detects faces helps create a more secure way of authentication. A drawback of this is that a device now "learns" your face and your identity. An ethical problem can arise in the way which people of different races or ethnicities cannot get read if the program was only registered with one race or ethnicity, which can hinder or damage other's use of the facial recognition software. An algorithm or machine cannot fully be neutral purely based off of implicit bias in the maker. When someone or a team creates something, all of their bias go into the algorithm and in such creates a subtle bias. I feel it's okay that people can sell their image or data for profit as long as it is not in a sense of malicious intent. Buolamwini's idea of bringing attention to all of these issues and biases can help people create more balanced machines and algorithms .

Reflection questions: What is missing from this list? Is there an item on the list that doesn’t belong there? With which items do you strongly agree?

I feel one thing missing from the list is that technology is mostly a creative aspect. From the exterior, interior, to the design of the components of tech, it all comes to creative input. Apple, Samsung, Nvidia, their creative creates their products and their effectiveness . I feel one that shouldn't be there is 7, stating that there is never just one single genius creator of technology. Although the article states that it is a team that complete an invention in technology, one singular person had to have come up with the idea for it, and therefore they are the creator. The person who created the first computer had a team, but when you look up who built it only one name comes up. I strongly agree with the bullet point that says tech companies make money in 3 ways. this is something I see a lot in big companies, where they sell their product in some way.

Part 5:

Reflection questions: How do you react to the examples of bias through research over the course of science history? How does tech/science play a role in creating injustice? What can tech/science do to enable a more just society?

I was surprised with the bias in technology and how they were not being challenged. I now technology is not created equal, and not available to all, but I haven't done the research to find the solution to this problem. Tech plays a role in creating injustice by the accessibility it has. 1) There is not a lot of water in the west, which can lead to agricultural problems. Social challenges are linked to engineering

2) The science and practice of promoting ecological health and human life

3) The equal distribution of enviromental benefits and burdens to everyone, no matter what

Video questions:
1) This was done to convey a stronger emotion and more powerfull tone and moral.

2) It did suprise me a little, but I enjoyed it. The choice to make it third person did what the video was intended to do to me, which I appreciate

3) I had no idea, but it is genius

4) One ethical implication could be the way we see rivers and nature as a whole. Having us see the river as a person would help us not abuse it or take advantage of it

Part 2:
I take parks for granted. Something I've done recently is when I fish, I ask the pond for permission to fish there or when I ask I acknowledge the forrest I'm there. Idk, it's nice.

I know some of our water comes from the mountains and glaciers, some comes from Stanley also.

I don't know where my water comes from exaclty, but idk how I would treat that. Most people don't know the farm their steak comes from and it doesn't bother them, so I see it the same way. Maybe it is a failure, because people should know what they're putting their money towards.

You can be profitting a corrupt company, taking water away from where it's needed.

Part 3:

the conditions would be different because the delta would be at the final resting spot. It would go to other places and the enviroment around would change.  The water would help people in SLRC more socially than in LA. the natural water would help support landscapes that need it and are taken for granted. I feel the more water around, the more people will appreciate it.

Part 4:
