         <title>Stop 1 - Carfax tower</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Carfax marks Oxford's central crossroads - the name derives from the Latin or 'four-forked'. It was the original north-to-south and east-to-west routes through Oxford.</p></li><li><p>Did you know that the Carfax Tower is the tallest building in central Oxford? It is 74 feet (23m) tall and no other building in the centre can be higher than it.</p></li><li><p>Centuries old University regulation requires an undergraduate student of the university to 'reside' within 6 miles of the Tower.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Stop 2 - Christ Church College</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Christ Church College is one of the largest colleges in Oxford and is considered one of the most prestigious. The college's bell tower, Great Tom, is rung 101 times at 9.05pm every night for the 101 original scholars of the college.</p></li><li><p>Christ Church has produced thirteen British Prime Ministers which is more than all other Oxford colleges put together! Notable student include Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, Albert Einstein and King Edward VII (7).</p></li><li><p>Did you know that scenes from the Harry Potter movies have been filmed here and the dining hall was the inspiration for the Great Hall in the books?</p></li></ul>]]></description>

There is space for over 600,000 books in rooms beneath Radcliffe Square.</p></li><li><p>Did you know that a tunnel was dug connecting the Radcliffe Camera with the Bodleian to enable librarians to transport books without using the streets of Oxford?</p></li><li><p>What does the Radcliffe Camera remind you of?          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The Bodleian Library is the second largest in Britain and one of only six entitled to a copy of every new book published in the UK. </p></li><li><p>Established in 1602, the library contains around 11 million books and 125 miles of shelves. It is forbidden to take any books out of the Bodleian.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Stop 6 - Bridge of Sighs</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>The Bridges of Sighs is Hertford Colleges 19th century copy of the original located in Venice. It's a skyway joining two parts of Hertford College over New College Lane.</p></li><li><p>Legend says that many decades ago, there was a survey of the health of Oxford University students, and when Hertford College's students were found to be the heaviest, the college closed off the bridge that links the old and new quads in order to force the students to take the stairs, thereby getting more exercise. Sadly this legend turns out to be false.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
