Being an airplane pilot is a dangerous profession due to the risks associated with air accidents, adverse weather conditions, fatigue, irregular and rotating work schedules, as well as the pressure and stress that come with the responsibility of passenger safety.

 

Ivan Vieira has been a naval pilot since he was 20 years old, and he is currently 24. He enjoys his job because he likes the risk it entails, and it is well-paid job. He enjoys his work, but sometimes he wishes he could have a lifestyle like his friends, as his job doesn't allow him to maintain a proper schedule.

 

Ivan enjoys the adrenaline rush that comes with flying, but he is also aware that there are many dangerous factors that are beyond his control, such as aircraft damage or bad weather.
