His responsibilities as owner and leader of the ranch include overseeing all ranch employees, equipment, animals, and crops. In addition, he has excelled as a hay grower and has experience raising horses and cattle. Bobby George has successfully managed the ranch’s backhoeing activities, including seven years as the owner of BG Backhoeing, and has three decades of experience as a sheep shearer with BG Sheep Shearing, among additional ranch experience.

Bobby George was the president of the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization during his senior year at Soroco High School in Oak Creek. He achieved his American FFA degree at the National FFA Convention and Expo. Bobby George was also a lettered athlete at Soroco High, competing on the school’s football team and twice advancing to the state finals in wrestling. A few of his interests include rodeo and training horses with his daughters, National rodeo honorees.
