      <title>AIS-7ABC-2021-MY2 -Unit #4: Chemical Feelings  by </title>

      <description>Chemistry is part of everything we do in life as well as everything in this world. Every natural change occurring around us is a result of chemical reactions, such as the growth of babies and plants and weather change. Firstly though, we are alive because chemical reactions occur within our bodies letting us to breathe, grow, reproduce and even feel emotions. This unit will be framed on the global context “Identities and relationships”; it will be focused on the chemistry related to our mental health, giving special relevance to the chemistry of the nervous system, neurotransmitters and emotions. The unit is going to explore the key concept &quot;Systems&quot;. Systems are sets of interacting or interdependent components that provide structure and order to a specific process; in this particular case, we will explore the nervous system. On the other hand, by studying the related concept &quot;Consequences&quot; we will emphasize the interdependence among the nervous systems, neurotransmitters and our feelings. Regarding content, the unit will include: types of matter, atomic structure, the kinetic theory of matter, chemical bond, the nervous system, and our mental health.</description>
