Americans are being told to reduce, reuse and recycle, but it seems like its rather futile. Many people try to recycle things that aren't actually recyclable, and a large quantity of these items in a load of actual recyclables causes the entire batch to be contaminated. Some people don't even care about recycling and throw away all possibly recyclable items in the solid waste bin.

On top of that, some recycling processing companies in 2018 were forced to send recyclables to landfills because they had nowhere else to go after China restricted the imports of recyclable items into the country.

Albeck, Livia. “Your Recycling Gets Recycled, Right?
In Alan Wiseman's work of intelligence, "The World Without Us", he depicts a bleak future of society as a whole by illustrating in stark detail the plague that is the human race. Human's have made drastic changes which have not gone unnoticed. The human race is doomed to completely annihilate and destroy itself without the possibility of resolution for the mess of nature that we have stirred; it is a global conundrum that has been caused by the negligence of global warming, ignorance of preservation measures, and the overall infrastructure we have introduced to an environment that once thrived untouched.

It provides an intriguing introspective into what Earth may look like after a few centuries if humans disappeared one day.

It's likely that most of Europe would look like this, completely untouched, after humans disappeared, except for a few buildings, plastics, polymers, a few pots and pans and some metals.

Through this interactive game, this source provided visual facts of the reality of our changing world and the effect that humans are creating. Through one game you can see the progress and loss of melting ice and discover and predict our future based on our past and increase of the melting rate. The game states that "approximately 400 billion tons of glaciers are lost per year since 1994", which only furthers immature disbelief and denial that so many people face which blocks action from being taken to help save not only our home but ourselves. Although we are full of greed, the only thing that will make us not act out of fear of losing ourselves is something that takes work and time; only proving further that not only is our world doomed, but humanity itself. In addition to the loss of ice and habitat for many animals that come from this area, this source informs its audience that "carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is causing temperatures to warm, sea levels to rise, oceans to grow more acidic, and rainstorms, droughts, floods, and fires to become more severe." Not only does this information reinforce the reality that is becoming of our disintegrating world, but it shows the lack of care or attention that is being directed to an issue that will one day destroy the world that we call home. This article proves further the block that humans have put against their own created problems of our raising temperatures and melting ice for it would be inconvenient to act against it. Humans are the only thing killing our species faster than the reactions from our unthoughtful decisions.

This interactive game, although entertaining to play, also provided valuable information that goes into great detail of the inevitable human destruction that society has put upon themselves. This fun game provides insight on the reality of our raising temperatures and melting ice by stating that "global air temperatures near Earth's surface have gone up about 2 degrees Fahrenheit in the last century. In fact, the past five years have been the warmest five years in centuries", yet lacked to include ideas or ways to help improve the global warming state that continues to rapidly increase with no attempt to stop this human side effect that is slowly destroying our home. Although educated is the first step to success, there has is no trace of action or effort of a plan which only enforces the neglect or carelessness that humans show towards this pressing issue that have written our fate for death and a world without us.

They would disagree with the poor choices we are making but would also not believe in the possibility that we could fix what we have broken for so long.

Source 3 would agree completely with the information in this video for it seems there is a lack of hope for improvement and an acceptance of the poor state that we are declining into.

The book would see the information given and agree that there is no use for including information to help the issue at hand for they see a future that is being predicted by this article by the ignorance and negligence that is being shown in the article.

The book uses 20 chapters to describe the sheer impact of humans on the world itself and how those impacts would fade away only after humans disappeared. But that's the thing: after humans disappear.

Weisman uses his novel to convey the idea that because of the massive impact on the environment caused by humans and because of the drastic changes we have made to various different ecosystems, we are the cause of global warming issues. And since we are still causing those issues right now, the only way to solve those issues and allow Earth to return to its original primeval state, all humans on planet Earth would need to be annihilated immediately.

We are like a plague on Earth. We are harming the planet, and Earth is starting to get a high fever. When humans get sick with a virus, you can't fight it off with antibiotics or medicine. Nothing is particularly helpful. The only way that the person feels better is when the immune system responds to the virus and the virus itself is wiped off the face of the human body, leaving nothing behind.
