 Perception and observation; do you always think you see something in the corner of your eye ? It may just a flash of light? Humans contain too much information that sometime are vision does not mirror our thinking process. For example, say Jim wore a red t-shirt on Thursday and two-weeks later he will ask if you the same question and you would said yes even though the t-shirt he was wearing before had different lettering. It was recognizable to you because of the colour. Or how about street signs, you thought it was a yellow sign with rocks when it was turtles…  Sometimes we see things or depict things others won’t. We all have an opinion and I would have notice the boy between the sisters until zoom in.

Patternicity: People are pattern-seeking fiends. We want to piece to together endless possible and search for unexplained or mystified for reason. Patterns are in society, culture, thought, and thoughts. Ghosts is a patternicity because there is not a lot supporting evidence of energies that ghosts are materials. It only has come from blurry pictures, ghost hunter’s equipment, clairvoyance / mediums and or a gut feeling. There are times humans see patterns that are not there. Ghosts are supposedly a paranormal phenomenon in books and movies. 
 

The perceptions of ghost throughout centuries have been either ghost of the physical person that is translucent, or a white cloth over them. This ghost is a person in white. Not a ghost wearing dark, modern clothing. 

The red flags of this video are the mistakes of the creator; I think the video is annoying with the movement and unbelievable, from the movement and angle, the location is some slum abandon place that assuming ghosts like to be presence. There no history of the ghost or research to even identity what ghost they are trying to prove.  The evidence is from the 21st century manifestations of films, books and ghost investigators. The red flag for the video is simplicity: since there is no research or science to back up supporting evidence that ghost are real. It’s just simple. That ghosts are presence and they have an “mystic” energy that technology or ghost hunting tools cannot trace. Another red flag is agenticity because this video mentions that fact it could potentially be a ghost, spirit or demon and that the creators believe that ghosts, demons and most certain angels are real.

That is not all. The photos were not supporting their findings. I notice in one of the photos was in the theatre showing the chairs where there was a circle flash of grey. Almost a reflection from the camera flash, or dust. It’s really bad quality. I want to mention also about the photo with the women, she looks very sad even though I know she is channelling herself to the other side to get to know the ghost. Overall, I am really sceptic of this group because it reminded me of fan group of Ghostbuster, and knowing its rather amusing, I think this is harming their clients if the clients have lost someone important to them or feel a bad presence in their household.
The red flags of the website that portrays is ;
 Agenticity : This website is supporting that ghosts, spirits, demons and possible angels in the community of Oshawa.
 Observation and perception: They are taking their observations and physiological beliefs is playing a huge part of their decisions to make what is real and not real.
Simplicity: Ghosts is a controversial subject to really understand the science.
 Mystic Energy: The group are implying that they claim that ghost have a energy that they can traced with their fancy equipment ( which is just the same used from the show, ghost hunters). 

 

 

This image portrays a man who is deceased and is a ghost because he has a white bedsheet. This has been what humans believe ghosts glowing white figure with a human-like shape. Since there is no supporting evidence to prove ghost are real, we create a picture in our minds to give us some type of proof to know what to expect if we feel the presence of a ghost or if you decide to make a career of investigating ghosts. 

I think it also must do with indoctrination by authority. Children are raise in different environments and are raise by different customs (culture, social values, religion, myths and folklore) and adapts it from their parents. If their parents vocally tell them that they believe in ghost, the more likely the child is going to too. It also has a big deal with the influences around us. Paranormal movies, TV shows, novels and idols have increased in the 21 centuries that ghost truly exist.  I think too, people are see patterns when there not there. For example, seeing a flash of light or dark shadow indicates that a ghost is presence or the sound of a chair clicking.  I think grief is one the main keys to why people believe in ghosts and spirits. Mediums or physics are always getting a “reading” on someone when they come in to make connection to the other side to connect with a unwanted presence or unwanted guest. I think that is damaging to people vulnerable because half the time the physic is giving a cold  message or asking questions before hand to give  a fake reading.
