Ide o rodinu mojej "žiačky" z MŠ. Ide o jednoduchšie oblečenie Slovenskej rodiny, ktoré nebolo tak bohato zdobené čipkami či inými ozdobnými prvkami.
This photo originated around 1934. It is the family of my "pupils" from the kindergarten. This is a simpler clothing of the Slovak family, which was not so richly decorated with lace or other decorative elements.

Výšivka sa stala súčasťou oblečenia, dekorativných dečiek, postelných obliečok a iných  predmetov bežnej potreby.
V súčasnosti začína byť výšivka opäť  v móde.
Each region can boast its embroidery, which is characteristic for the individual regions of the Slovak Republic. Embroidery has become part of clothing, decorative blankets, bedding and other items of ordinary necessity. Now, embroidery is back in fashion.

Existuje však veľa dialektov mimo oficiálneho jazyka. Mladí ľudia, ktorí žijú hlavne vo väčších mestách Slovenskej republiky, majú ťažkosti s pochopením dialektov svojho regiónu. Mnohé dediny sa však snažia zachovať svoju identitu aj nárečím a odovzdávať  ho nasledujúcim generáciam.
The official language of the Slovak Republic is the Slovak language. But there are many dialects outside the official language. Young people who live mainly in larger cities of the Slovak Republic have difficulty understanding the dialects of their region.
