I have to report myself at 8am. As i was there, Raya ceremony were be held at the back of the museum. I was invited to join them although it was my first day being there. There are a lot of food been served such as lemang, rendang ayam, pulut kuning, fried ketiau, sagu gula melaka and many more. 

While enjoying the food, i had been asked to introduce myself to them. They also asked some question about SIEP training that i need to do and i clearly explained to them about it to make them understand about what i will doing within this two week. The event stop at 10.30am and we need to clear up the place and went back to do office. 

Because today is my first day, i was required to get to know with the staff at the museum. I also have to look at the organization chart to know every staff position. They also told me about the working hour and also lunch hour at the office. 

Muzium Darul Ridzuan is one of six museum that has been under Lembaga Muzium Perak. The other museum is Galeri Sultan Azlan Shah, Rumah Kediaman DYMM Sultan Azlan Shah, Muzium Diraja Kuala Kangsar, Muzium Beruas and Kompleks Sejarah Pasir Salak. 

I was not yet be exposed to the scope of work that i need to do because the staff that should guide me need to attend meeting until the evening. My working hour are from 8am to 5pm which follow the office hour. Today, Puan Nurul which is the governer's officer at the museum had brief me about the scope of work to be done during my SIEP training here. 

I have been given a task which i need to do a research about Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) which is a popular title research among students for PT3 this year. Because of lack information about KTM at this museum, me and my partner need to do this task and submitted it as an assignment to Muzium Darul Ridzuan in a hardcopy form. 

Therefore, my working time has changed which i need to outside work to gain information about my task, my working time are as follows. I need to be at the office from 8am to 10am because i need to punchcard first before doing my work. Then on 10am to 3pm, i need to do my research and went back to the office after that. I was required to start my task on the next day which is on Wednesday, 26 July 2017. 

So today, i had been given opportunity to visit around the museum to increase my knowledge about museum. The activities that i had do today was analyzing the museum's history, the exhibition being carried out at the museum which is 'Pameran Basikal Klasik' which start from 2 May 2017 until 31 July 2017. So today i need to start doing the task that had been given to me. I went out at 10am and decided to go the library on the first day to get as much information as i can. I went to Tun Razak Library and searched for information about KTM there. 

I look for the information about KTM in magazines, newspaper, related books and make interview with staff at the library. I intend to make the following interview because i want to see how far she know about KTM. She also helped me to gain more information about KTM at the library. Book with title 'Tourism Scope' also provided me a lot of information about KTM.

After i had my luch and perform my prayer, i went back to the museum at 3pm. Early in the morning, Puan Jun told me that a meeting will be conducted to discuss about event that will be held on this Saturday 29 July 2017 that is 'Melukis dan Mewarna Pameran Basikal Klasik 2017'.

The purpose of the meeting is to distribute work among staff and also the flow of the event on that day. We are doing some discussion and also changing ideas on what we should and shouldn't do on that day. It was one of a great event will be held there. So we need to put extra effort to make sure the event run smoothly. 

On that day, i need to be at registration counter for category B with Farhah and Pak Hamid which we need to manage kids from 14 years old to 16 years old to register on that event.

Puan Nurul told me that i dont have to do research because she need me to help for tomorrow's preparation. 

So today activities was packing goodies for participant, prepare their drawing block and cop the drawing paper with their category. I also helped them to wrap the prizes for lucy draw with my own creativity and they like it. I also helped them to cut the voucher of food coupon to be given to the participants. I came at 7am because we need to well prepared for this event. 

Early in the morning, we need to set up place for registration, place for parents to wait for their children, bring the goodies bag at the registration place and make sure the item for the event are in a good condition and also be at their own place. 

The registration start at 8am and the event start at 8.30am and Pak Ilya which is the famous comedian as the emcee for that event. 

I also got a chance to be a gift giver on that event. It required me to stand beside the guest on the stage and helped them to bring the prizes to give to the winner. I also be a guider to the parents if they want to know anything about the event or the museum. I also helped to ditribute and collect the drawing paper of the participant. 

The event went smooth and successfully. I asked Puan Nurul to take an emergency leave and she's okay with it. Today i decided to go to KTM Ipoh to conduct surveys and observation at that area and the facilities and information that i can gained from there.

I gained a lot of information such as i know the history of the railway station, the structure of the building concept, the attractions that provided there and also the type of KTM such as commuter, train,ETS and cargo.

I also managed to know about the price, the offer price for senior citizen and also for student. The different between Silver, Gold and also Platinum and many more. I also experienced a commuter ride from Batang Benar to Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS). It was so great because you will never trapped in traffic jam and also it is easier for you to move from one place to other. Our trip to visit other museum that under Lembaga Muzium Perak are part of an exciting activities because it provide useful information for me to use in the future. I also can explain to my relatives, family and friends about the museum that i had visit. Some of them might not know about the existence of the museum at Perak.

Firstly, we went to Rumah Kediaman DYMM Sultan Azlan Shah which is located at Batu Gajah. This places provide us the information about Sultan Azlan Shah profile and many more.

Next, we went to Kompleks Sejarah Pasir Salak which is one of my favorite among others. This places was quite big with its classic structure and design. This places provide us the information about how Malay are formed, it more on history of Perak, traditional outfit, old artifact and many more. We can gained a lot of information and knowledge when we came here because it is not static at one main focus theme at this mesuem. Because of lack of time, i have not complete my tour at this places.

After had our lunch at Medan Selera Pasir Salak, our next destination is Muzium Beruas. It is located at Pekan Beruas and infront of Balai Polis Beruas. This places provide us information about old artifact that been found at Beruas such as tempayan lama, meriam, old plates with the actual design, old  coins. 

We move to our next destination which is at Kuala Kangsar. We managed to visit Galeri Sultan Azlan Shah. This place was so beautiful because of its building's design which more on English design and its color was so attractive. 

The last destination is at Istana Diraja Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar. This places is just a building and we cannot enter it. We just can look from outside the classic building structure with yellow color. It was so beautiful and attractive. We just can take photo from the outside of the building. It was a sad day for me because this is my last day be part of Muzium Darul Ridzuan. The staff was so nice and kind, it makes me feel sad to leave them. They are like family to each other, although it was just two week i been there but they treat me like a family. It was a great experience being there. Today i need to submit my task which i need to do research about KTM. So today i came to the museum to submit it with my partner. 

Around 3 o'clock we arrived at museum and we are so surprised when there are a farewell party for me and my partner. We went there to submit the task but we are being celebrated that day. It was so touched because we are being appreciate although we are just two week there. They prepared some food for us like cake and pizza. To be honest, i'm crying on that day because it was such a speechless moment for me. I never thought that they will do this farewell party for us.

We need to give little speech after Puan Nurul give a talk and thanked us because helped them with the event and so on. We were really touched. It was a sweet moment for me and also my partner. I think the surprise are done but we are being surprised when they gave us an appreciation gift because choosing Muzium Darul Ridzuan as a place to do SIEP. We then took a photo together and began to eat. 

Before went back, Puan Nurul give us the feedback form. We thanked them and went back after shook hands and completion of forgiveness with staff at the museum.
