Starter - My article about winter

How would you suggest I could improve this article?

I hate winter.

Every day is cold, and most of them are wet. You get up in the dark, arrive at work or school just as it’s getting light, sit inside all day, then go home in the dark. If you do want to go outside, you have to wear a million extra bulky clothes. When you go inside again, you instantly feel like you’re on fire because you’re so wrapped up. Another terrible thing about winter is all the germs. Everyone gets ill with colds and flu and then pass it to everyone else because everyone is stuck inside with the heating on. Driving is also annoying in winter. The car takes ages to heat up in the morning, then the windows get all foggy. It’s also dangerous because of ice on the road. Also, there are lots more storms in winter which cause lots of damage.
