One of my favorite quote on this list is All that we see or seem is but a scream within a scream.” — Edgar Allen Poe, because it is questioning what reality actually is which I find really interesting. Besides the point, I think inspiring and thought provoking quotes are important because they help motivate us and reflect on past experiences.

This quote is awesome because it reminds me of the moments in life when I get excited about the little things. Sometimes some people think it's weird when I get really enthusiastic about small stuff, but I really vibe with the people who can be enthusiastic with me. Oh boy I like this one, because nothing bothers me more (or at least, very few things bother me more) than people who run their mouths incessantly just to say things that have no intelligence whatsoever. I admit, I say quite a few things that aren't intelligent, but it's also quite annoying to hear someone go on a tangent about something and have so many faults in their argument. It reminds me of a quote by Bill Murray: "It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person." This is a great quote. While being optimistic is better for you physiologically and psychologically, sometimes it can hurt you. The world is not perfect. Pessimists help protect society.

The social pressures of middle and high school are enough to break someone into conformity.
