What was the Mediterranean World like in 33 CE? 

The reason of the Romans controlling so much is because they were so significant and had lots of followers. The Roman Empire also helped with Romans controlling so much of the world. The languages that were used where, Romanic, Greek, Parthians, Medes and Elamite, Latin, Aramaic and much more. Paul wrote letters in theses languages for the bible (New Testament) and letters to the romans and other people. In Paul’s first journey he walked and travelled 1400 mills that is 2253.082 km. Saul now known as Paul first travelled From Antioch’s seaport Selucia, Paul and Barnabas sail to Cyprus, and work throughout the island. Next they go to Pamphylia and the other Antioch in Pisidia. They went down to Lycaonia, working in Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe. Passing through Pisidia and Pamphylia again, they then worked in Perga. They went down to Attalia and caught a ship back to Syrian Antioch. When he got to each place he helped deliver a sermon or religious address to an assembled group of people, also known as preaching.

Saint Paul’s letters were important because they meant a lot to people. His first letter is about Christ was born, don’t want to boast, the bloody, enemies where friends. This would have been important to him because it was Jesus and how he was such an influence to everyone’s lives. Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and his Cross is the most important theme found in Galatians. The Letter of Paul to the Galatians follows his Second Letter to the Corinthians and precedes his Letter to the Ephesians in the New Testament of the Bible. They were important because they were what happened in his life and what he did between 62 and 68 years he was alive.

Paul had many cultural challenges but his many one was about Jewish laws, circumcision played a big roles in the challenges. Christians that Jewish Christians were not observing themselves. Someone commented “you should love your neighbor as it is yourself “.  Salvation comes from believing in Jesus and not by works the law.

    Paul’s message in Philippians 2:1-5  today is that you need to share the spirit of God with everyone. It also says that you need to be selfless like you think less about yourself and more about other people, humble like showing a modest of one's importance, and imitate Christ in a good way like follow the ways he does.
