Also gases are invisible so you can't see gas. Other thing I know is that pure substances are \ or compounds. An example of an pure substance is 24k gold - 24k gold is a pure substance because you find gold cave than they take the gold than clean it up and give it a clean look than sell it is a pretty easy so 24k gold is made out of 1 making it a pure substance. More examples of an pure substance is sliver - sliver is 100% pure sliver the making of sliver is the same but sliver more cheaper than gold . So what is an mixture an mixture is something that is blended together a d has two or more  ingedients this what mixture means. Mixtures are combination of pure substances no chemically bonded together.  What so what would corbon dioxide be will it be a compound or be a pure substance the answer is a compound.  Also 14 Karat Gold a mixture of gold and of sliver Copper. Next thing I know is that water is h20 and water is going to be an pure substance if it is tap water but if it is filtered water than it is still pure substance but in filtered water they just add salt and remove any hard chemical's  but is still water but way cleaner than tap water because they clean the water and remove all of the hard or harsh chemicals.
