Why that trip was so special is because I got to see my aunt and uncle, who moved from Oxnard to Kentucky. It was really great to see them, I visited my 3 cousins with one on the way. My family and theirs went to a bunch of different museums and other places. We started in new jersey and went on the route that goes above most of the states in the middle.
We even ended up stopping in canada and mexico.
We went to Yosemite the Grand Canyon  and Yellowstone.
In all i have driven across country three times, once when we started in New Jersey twice when we went back to New Jersey. And a third time when we moved to California. Thee trips were special because I got to hang out with all my family, and meet some members of my family that I had never met.

This drive starts very early and ends the next day around 3 P.M. We don't like wasting money on a hotel overnight, we just keep on driving until we get their. I have gone on many road trips that are around 5 hours long but the Montana trip is the longest. When we drive home from Montana I get excited when my dad says 4 more hours because that is a lot better than 27 more hours. I have lots of family in Montana and there is a lake where we stay. My family and I would push each other off of the dock daily.
