This included rumors of civilians in North Vietnam being raped, their homes being pillaged, and their religious beliefs being ridiculed. The CIA also made an effort to convince the people of the North that after a certain amount of people had made their way to the South, the U.S, would liberate North Vietnam by means of nuclear warfare.</div>]]></description>
