- in ITE, i went to an old folk's home and organised a 'sports day' event. we would play games with the old folks, talk to them and entertain them for the day. some of us would frequently go to the old folks home and thus, we created bonds with the elderly there.

We spent time talking to and entertaining the elderly by singing old songs they enjoy. Afterwards, we ate with them and assisted them by feeding them or cutting their food to make it easier to eat and safe.

For VIA, we tried to raise awareness for mental health. We set up a booth in the school canteen with brochures with positive messages and encouraged people to share their own mental health experiences by writing them onto a board. We wrote unique cards with positive messages and gave them out to people who wanted them.
