Protein help to maintain muscle tissue. The protein in tempeh is more digestible as compared to animal sources.<br>b) <strong>Prevention of type 2 diabetes.</strong><br>Soy food like "tempeh" have proven with the ability to lessen insulin resistance by increasing the synthesis of insulin receptors.<br>c) <strong>Cancer prevention benefits.</strong>        The soybean in "tempeh" consists lignan phytoestrogens that can  help prevent some forms of cancer by blocking estrogenic activity, reducing the risk of breast, prostate and colon cancers, along with cardiovascular disease.
