Moreover, international-mindedness means raising awareness to international issues and concerns that will directly or directly affect or influence our future. You may no longer focusing your own nationality like showing much pride thus, totally erasing ethnocentrism, discriminations and supremacy.

I always say to my students  that touching the water means touching the rest of the world.  This is because the oceans do not  have any border. It is the ocean, that connects all and whatever consequences of human intervention may greatly affect humanity. 
Furthermore, in Biology and other Sciences, we promote international mindedness  thru reading and understanding discoveries of scientists from different countries. Such as during pandemic, we dealt with the different efforts of various countries in the development of vaccines, medicines and health protocols that are effective to lessen or mitigate the impact of covid19 variants. Furthermore, as we engage our learners to research activities, we encourage them to use international findings to enrich their review of related literatures. Furthermore, we emphasize the principle of ecosystem in Biology saying that there is stability in diversity, therefore,there is strength in differences. We encourage teachers to teach within and across curriculum areas. So, often times, Biology and other sciences have a context of history in the development of lesson objectives. For instance, the Cell Theory. We track down how the discovery started. we also recognize the discoverer and the country where they come from. 
Furthermore, current issues, discoveries and related literatures from other countries are being utilized as a significant part of their research review of related literatures. For all the tasks such as recitation and performance, include the colorful diversity of the world. In research, try to encourage the learners to include findings and discoveries of many countries in the review of related literatures. Recognize the countries for coming up with certain discoveries no matter how fundamental and comprehensive they may be. With this, we integrate curricular activities in Biology such as indoor and outdoor activities like community outreach programs, coastal cleanup and coastal mangrove reforestation that are aligned in the said world celebration. This enable our learners to interact with other youth organizations from other countries  and accomplish projects together. 
Aside from this, we try also to compare and contrast means and unique responses by other countries in terms of crises in health and in the environment. Sustainability issues in energy for instance in their researches. We also study global data on the use of geothermal energy, solar energy and other possible sources of energy to sustain economic development. Moreover, we give learners the opportunity to analyze economic development and environmental issues of nations.
