(Reflection 4.5)
People: I was confused about a problem on number 15 of the coordinate geometry homework. I could figure out where to start, so I asked a classmate. After their insight on reverse engineering the problem using the known area, I figured it out. The same happened with question 16. I was a little off track and needed my teacher to steer me in the right direction. I finished the question with ease.

Strategy: One big strategy for me this time around was organization and rereading. If I got a problem wrong the first time, I went back and reread it to find where I went wrong. In order to make my rereading as easy as possible, I made sure to organize my work and thought process using colors and clear steps. I also referred to my notes a bunch, making that a third strategy.

These example show my ability to use different types of tools, ones that allow me to take in new knowledge and ideas, and ones that allow my to organize and store them.

(Reflection 6.5)
Topics: As we wind down the year, we mainly focused on our final topic, volume. I spent a lot of time calculating and working on problems involving volume, and these problems also included older topics like trigonometry, circle properties, area, and lines and angles.

Online: I used a teacher instructional video that was included in one of the trigonometry assignments to remind me of how to find a missing angle using trig. I'd forgotten, and so this video helped a lot.

This example shows very well my ability to use topics I previously learned to help me understand new ones. It also shows my ability to recall and reuse tools, like the teacher video.

I think I did a great job of using tools strategically. I've proven that I can be very resourceful, as shown by the diverse types of tools that I used consistently, week after week. I don't use the tools to slack either, instead I make sure that I truly understand whatever each tool presents me with. I'm very happy with how I improved in using many different tools appropriately over the school year.

(Reflection 5.5)
Once both of my groupmates were confused about finding volume. After explaining to me why, I walked them through my best explanation of how to find it. Afterward, it seemed to me like they got the hang of it as they didn't ask further questions and seemed to be getting the Jamboard questions right. This is a good example of me constructing an argument and using evidence to prove it.

(Reflection 4.5)
I remember doing the last slide on the Circles Jamboard. We all had certain shapes whose perimeters and areas we had to find. One of my group mates was having trouble starting, so a gave them a boost by pointing out how, on their shape, there was a semicircle with a defined radius that they could use to find the circumference and area of the shape. Because it was a half circle, I also explained that the radius would return the circumference and area of a full circle with that radius, and for that reason, it was necessary to divide them by two. If we got two different, we would go through our steps and critique each other, which I think I did quite well. This is a good example of both constructing arguments and critiquing the reasoning of others.

I think I did an exceeds-worthy job of constructing arguments and critiquing the reasoning of others. Over the last two quarters, I've gotten more comfortable with my group and thus we have been encouraged to confidently argue and critique. I feel like my skills have grown a lot. I'm more confident in my ability to argue math now than before this class.
