This is a photo of the Bega river. You can see the peaceful waterway stretching into the distance, along the way you can lush green trees that slightly lean towards the river. The sky above the river is crystal blue. You’d likely to hear the wind blowing and the birds singing. You can smell the fresh air and the earthy river water.

The Pontoon:My friends and I decided to go to a pontoon on the Bega River after school.We sat on the wooden platform, talked, laughed, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. This place is quite popular, especially among young people. It was a simple but relaxing day, and the time spent together in nature really helped us unwind and reconnect.

This is the Union Square, a popular plaza in the town centre where a lot of people, including me and my friends, choose to spend their time. The nature area in the centre of it offers an inviting place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Many people, especially families pick this place to play with their children or their loved ones. Building of Silesian University in Sosnowiec was completed in 1981, and it underwent a general renovation between 2006 and 2007, ensuring its continued functionality and modern appearance. At university you could study at various faculties, such as parts of the Faculty of Humanities (including English and Slavic Studies) and the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Moreover this building holds the distinction of being the tallest academic building in Poland, soaring to an architectural height of approximately 90 meters (with a structural height of 68 meters to the roof). This makes it a significant landmark in Sosnowiec.

Recently renovated palace in Baranowice, before the renovation it stood untouched for a long time, and before that it was a school. Around it there’s a forest with numerous walking paths. In the palace a lot of different activities - like dancing classes, guitar lessons, concerts - are held. There’s also a restaurant, library, a gallery and a museum. It’s a really nice place.

The market square in Żory is the city’s central spot, surrounded by townhouses and full of life all year round. At its center stands a statue of St. John of Nepomuk and the town hall. In the summer, a modern fountain with light shows operates here, and outdoor cafés line the square. Many cultural events take place, such as fairs, concerts, and the Fire Festival. It’s a popular meeting place for both residents and tourists.
