One form of diplomacy which I believe to be important is the establishment of embassies and consulates in foreign countries. It allows for easier communication and cooperation with the country's government and represents strong ties with the country. The embassy's consulates also help with communicating with citizens from the host and home country. One example of embassies being used is in Wuhan at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, where China and Singapore worked together to bring home Singaporeans stranded there during its lockdown.

The reason why this method of diplomacy is so effective is due to the sharing of culture amongst countries and how eating together creates bonds around the table. The problem with this is that things can go wrong when a single mistake is committed. Take Nasi Lemak both generally breakfast favorites of Malaysia and Singapore, but can be eaten at any time of the day can be found at a restaurant or hawker Centre. The Singaporean version of Nasi Lemak is typically served with coconut rice and accompanied by a wide variety of dishes with popular choices such as fried anchovies and peanuts and fried egg. The chili that goes with the rice is usually savory. The Malaysian version of the dish is served with chicken rendang or curries and the chili accompanying the dishes are usually sweeter as compared with its Singaporean counterpart. Both countries may have a different ideas of what the dish Nasi Lemak would be, but it still shares the same concept of recipe loved by not only the locals(Singapore) but our neighbors(Malaysia) too.
The menu reflects how similar the peoples,  cultures and foods are in our two countries, how closely the two countries are similar with one another. The diplomacy is not just confined to politics and economics, but encompasses ''the exchange of ideas, information, arts, and other aspects of culture to enhance the understanding of our nation.''  It also strengthens relationships between countries in doing so enhance social and cultural cooperation.
To be connected through food is something that we can share with one another that allows us to create memories and traditions. Even across different cultures, preparing and eating food is something special. Anywhere you might travel, people agree that food is one way to express feelings, create memories, and connect with others.
While Covid-19 has limited the opportunities to have similar gatherings, the pandemic has also brought the countries closer together in other ways. The strengthen bond allows both sides of the countries to depend on each other whether for help and comfort. (Piggyback)

A) Humanitarian aid is important. It saves lives, and lessens the suffering of others. So what are some examples humanitarian aid? Humanitarian aid includes donating money and basic necessities, such as food, to individuals or countries that need them. One example would be Afghan people getting financial help from an NFT auction. More than nine million Afghans have been displaced from their homes while almost half the country’s population is starving.In partnership with the UNHCR, Singaporean blockchain company Mars Panda hosted a charity NFT auction on March 4 to raise awareness and funds for the Afghan people. NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are unique tokens on a blockchain that are mostly used to represent digital art.
Celebrities and artists like Dan Williams pledged unique pieces for the auction, and football club Valencia jerseys,
signed by their respective players, were featured as well. This is a very different type of humanitarian aid compared to the ones we usually hear about, but this would definitely help the people in Afghans, even if it were to be a small fraction of it. 
B) However, there are some cons with humanitarian aid. One of them would be that humanitarian aid may not always achieve its aims. Many humanitarian projects fail. Each failed project means people have not received the assistance they need and resources have not been used optimally. Although immediate assistance should be provided to people in need, questions persist on how much this helps in the long term. Actual impacts of humanitarian interventions can be hard to measure. Another problem would be that it can cause dependencies among communities and nations that receive it. As assistance is provided from outside, it can result in a lack of innovation and development. This means people become reliant on aid and fail to develop the economic and political structures needed to move forward. Aid should be used to immediately save lives and reduce the impact of disasters. Too often aid is given that stifles local markets and innovation, preventing growth.
