It made me realize that as an individual, we may often feel as if our value is so little in this world, and we often feel intimidated by those people around us. We are leaders because unknowingly we have made somebody feel that they are worthy, and are capable of so many things. We made them feel that they are more than their insecurities. Being a leader does not only mean that we are supposed to change the world and make a difference. It does not mean that you would have immense amount of power, and people would be following you around. Being a leader could be as simple as somebody else's source of empowerment. I really loved the quote he had mentioned in the video from Marianne Williamson: "Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light and not our darkness that frightens us." That is a quote that I would really like to reflect on more, and be able to understand thoroughly.
