We all have many different types of relationships in our lives and we will live a much happier life if we can maintain those relationships. "Communication plays a pivotal role in all types of relationships whether it is personal or professional. Feelings must be expressed and reciprocated in relationships." (page 6). Honesty, forgiveness, and most importantly, time. You have to spend time with someone to get to know them. The more time you spend with someone, the more important they will feel. "Every relationship needs time and an individual’s effort to grow" (page 6). Both you and your partner will feel the deeper connection simply by talking. By doing all these things you can maintain a good healthy relationship.

I have been able to maintained a positive body image by being realistic with myself. I am surrounded by people that make me feel comfortable with the way I look and never try to put me down. I do not to judge myself and others based on the way they look. "I WILL practice taking people seriously for what they say, feel, and do. Not for how slender, or “well put together” they appear" (page 4). The way someone looks should not effect the way they are treated because, at the very least, everyone deserves respect

Teen Pregnancy

"Pregnant teenagers do not have a life built up to support a baby, so they often need the help of those around them" (page 12). Since the do no have life all figured out and most cannot fully provide for the baby on their own, they need help from others. Some things that those people can do are babysit, and give hand-me-down things for the baby. The family often times has to help out al lot with taking take of the baby. Some families require assistance from the government to support their family. "Long-term effects include lack of education of both the parents
and child." (page 12). Juggling a baby and education is very tough, so most drop out before they can finish.

The best way to be absolutely 100% sure you or your partner will not get pregnant is by practicing abstinence. "Abstinence can be difficult for some people. Women and men need to be clear about their reasons to stay abstinent. If you are tempted to have sex, it helps to remember why you made the decision to be abstinent in the first place" (page 8). Eventually most people will chose to no longer be abstinent, so it is important to be educated on birth control and how you can protect against STD's and unwanted pregnancies. "According to the HHS Office on Women's Health, the male latex condom is the best method for protecting against STDs, including
HIV/AIDS" (page 9)
