My family and I (group of 4) went to Bayfield (Lake Huron) for the day. If you haven't been, it's about a twenty-minute drive from the popular Ontario beach town - Grand Bend on Ontario's West Coast. My family and I visit every year and what I love most is the peace and tranquility I experience while listening to the waves and soaking in the sun. As you can see in the image below, the views of the beautiful waters of Lake Huron are breathtaking. This little village has a lot to offer other than its views. One of the best things to do in Bayfield is to walk the historic Main Street. There you find local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and hotels. I highly recommend you visit this tiny gem. It is located an hour and 20 minutes south of my house.
The weather was clear, but the lake water was too cold. But my kids and I swam and had a good time at the beach.
