These are words that were important in the book "Among The Hidden" here are some reasons these words are important. Due to the POPULATION being to big, the GOVERNMENT enforced a rule limiting families to only two children. This new rule made it ILLEGAL to have more than two children. If a family had more than two children they would try to keep the third child HIDDEN from sight out of fearhe or she would be taken.

 Things that happen in HISTORY caused laws like this to be made. That is a really evil government isn't it. Those sentances are why those important. And those are true things about the book. Thise words are just five of many, but those words were the most important to me. And that is the reason I chose those words.

The story is a bout a boy named Luke who was not supposed to exist and he was not supposed be seen. The first thing that I thought was a long game of hide and seek. But the story stayed that way until another third child. This reminded me of my little cousin Austin. What he would do is find another player and run to them in curiosity, then he would just stay andleave and come back.

 The other child was a girl named Jen. She kept explain how she does not like hiding. Then she asked him to go on a rally. When I read this I to myself "That's like asking someone to jump off a cliff." The thought of this brought on paralyzing fear. Of course Luke refused but that did not stop Jen. So when Luke woke up that morning he went to see Jen, but he found no one. That reminds me of when I wake up in the morning to greet my mom but she's gone running. So when Luke turned off the alarm Jen's dad runs in with a gun. Then when Jen's dad broke the news of Jen being dead, everything went sad. This part reminds me of when I got the news that my Great Uncle died, my day darkened. So then the cops came, they went away without catching Luke, then Luke told his parents about everything. The way the author described it made it feel like when you tell your parents the truth you've been hiding. So at the end of the story Luke gets a new fake I.D. its like an example of a new life. Well that's my opinion on this book I hope you enjoyed.
