Dr. Helen Barrett, a pioneer in digital portfolios, defines it as a purposeful collection of student work that illustrates efforts, progress, and achievements over time. Similarly, Kathleen Blake Yancey describes it as a reflective and developmental space where students can demonstrate their learning and set future goals.

In my opinion, an SDP is more than just a folder of documents. It is a space where we reflect on what we have done, how we have grown, and what we want to improve. It is a personal and academic tool that helps us see our own learning process. Through this portfolio, I could organize my work, keep track of what I studied, and show the skills I developed during the course.

Creating this SDP helped me understand better how I learn and gave me motivation to keep improving. It shows not only what I know, but who I am as a student.

Unit 2: Professional Profile
We identified and described the academic, specific, general, and personal skills of a professional in the tourism area. We also created a graphic profile and explained these skills in a video presentation.

Unit 3: Job Opportunities
This unit focused on exploring job opportunities in marketing, publicity, banking, and finance. We researched required studies and competencies, conducted interviews with professionals, and analyzed wages and benefits. The final task was to create a group presentation with charts and audio explaining these topics.

Unit 4: Family Plans or Family Tree
We described family relationships using the verb to be and possessive nouns. The activities included creating a family tree or family plans chart and recording an oral presentation to explain our family members or plans.
