         <description><![CDATA[<div>“Tuesday 16th November students from UBS Lorient came to give a talk which helped us to understand what information and media are, how to keep informed with the help of the media and how to detect the fake news.<br>&nbsp;So Javier, Marie and Eveline offered a playful presentation which has allowed us to know all the rudiments of information and also the required tools (décodex, google images,...) and techniques to avoid the lack of information. They have also made us aware of the democratic dangers that have the social networks.          <description><![CDATA[<div>If the information access is increasingly democratised at a general level, the risk of suffering the lack of information or fake news’ effects would also increase. We have a lot of current examples to prove this phenomenon.<br>&nbsp;So the goal is to have and spread the information keys of this “information jungle” shaped by the medias, traditional or not, and this is the purpose of education in media: training responsible citizens, making them aware of the problem and providing them with mordant critical thinking, which would allow them to resist and also to “counterattack” (quoting Divina Frau-Meigs, sociologist specialised in media).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As part of our studies, we have organised a workshop about education in media and information (EMI, for its French acronym) at different schools in the Lorient region. Our main goal has been to make young people aware of the fake news’ risks. We have given them some tools to identify and recognise these fake news. This activity is part of the already existing european projects (MOOCs of education in media, Mediacoach, Mediappro...), and it is intended to be repeated as long as it is possible.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;This padlet collects all the ressources named in our workshops.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;We have no intellectual property rights for any of these, and we are not the authors.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;We kindly thank Ms. Roseline le Squère, our project management teacher, Mr. Philippe Denis, CAMP’TIC association president, Mr. Kevin Lailheuge, content strategist from a large entreprise, and the Youth Information Office Lorient, for their supportive and valuable advices.</div>]]></description>
