During Chinese New Year, many ppls living nearby and afar will come and pray for blessing for their family. They also gather here and chat with neighbour as this temple act as a gathering point for communities. There are getai and Chinese opera performances for ppls to enjoy during certain festives. XNPS has a Pottery Club which has a kiln to fire up the pottery pieces created. Some of these pieces by our own Xingnanians are presented as souvenirs to visitors and VIPs.
The CCA members have also visited this place. The place allows local potters to experiment and nurture their craft. XNPS also provides opportunities for our pupils to express themselves in their areas of passion and be developed.
