Second conditional is used for unreal, hypothetical and a situation contrary to fact. It is used for present and future time. Structure is; If + subject +were +......, (if sentence), + subject + would('d) + verb + ......(result sentence) or subject +would('d) +verb+ ....., + if + subject +were + other words. For example; If she were you, she would buy the yatch. or he would buy the yatch, if she were you.
