In some countries to speak up is not allowed,but in America you have the freedom of speech.And some people take it for granted where as some people don’t utilize it. Ralph the main character never speaks up even when he is having feelings and lots of questions. Ralph doesn’t speak up when his dad doesn’t kiss him the first time, when he remembers his flashback of the jelly fish. And most importantly inthe  end when he gives up.</div>]]></description>

Weather it’s through the character’s thoughts or actions, the author is almost always teaching a lesson through the characters. In the book <em>A Bike Like Sergio’s</em>, by Maribeth Boelts, Ruben faces a difficult decision, and through this Maribeth Boelts teaches the reader that there are more important things than money. These things are kindness, honesty, and happiness.</div>]]></description>
