Romania and in Italy in Spring there is a very special festival. It's name is Easter. Easter is the most important festival for Christians. We celebrate Easter due to our religian.

Festival Şivlilik in Konya.

Sivlilik in Turkey is very important festival special to Konya You can't see this tradition in other cities of Turkey. People celebrate it at the first day of Raghaip month. The celebration of Şivlilik are great fun for children. :)
Children wander around with their lanterns in the evening and go around in groups. Sometimes, they lit very big fires to jump over or play around them. The next day is more exciting. Children take handbags and collect sweets, candies, chocolate, dried fruits or other small gifts from the neighbourhood.

I think that's wonderful!:)))
To me it's the most interesting festival :)))

It seems real fun! It is nice to go out with friends and get others wet by throwing water.
We do it in Greece on the last day of school and usually our teachers get angry. They don't let us do it in the school. :(
