Now I know that my perceptions and assumptions were not totally correct after I met Sir Kaw. I had this notion that law professors are very intimidating, very strict, and very hard towards their students. But Sir Kaw defied that stereotype. He is kind, approachable, and is willing to listen to his students; not to mention that he plays music before his class starts. He made Legal Research and Writing fun, and I was able to learn a lot because of his relaxed, yet concise method of teaching.

Thank you Sir Kaw for not only convincing me to give Ateneo Law a try but also for helping me manage going back to school after a long time. Going in to law school I feared that it would be so highly competitive that no one would have my back. I thought that law professors purposely made it hard for us students to “gatekeep” anyone from getting into such a lucrative and influential profession.

A supporter who welcomed all our fears with open arms and pushed us daily towards our potential. Thank you for showing us that there is always a lesson in failure.
