-Helped to establish the Pom Pom girls, cheerleaders, and majorettes, becoming a mentor for a lot of young women at Westinghouse 

-Thinks back fondly on her time coaching the cheerleaders during the football games, saying that parent involvement made everything that much more special and personal 

-Has children and grandchildren all over the United States from Texas to Alabama, all of which were given the foundation to pursue whatever they so desired

-Still regularly has former students coming up and thanking her for all that she did for them during her time at Westinghouse
