Whenever there's a school event, let's have a link for one-off donations without direct payback. e.g. yes, let's bake something if we want, but rather than "selling" cake, let's just say - have cake, and donate what you can / want.

Family Picnic - end of school year

It would be lovely to get families together closer to the end of the school year when it's warmer, in St Anne's Park for a picnic, parents can chat while children hangout.

Somewhere away from the playground

School Tea Towel

We did this in the 80/90s in the first Educate Together School and it's one of my favorite memories.

Each child is given (during school) a sheet of paper where they draw themselves and write their first name under it.

I scan them all in and create a funky tea towel for families to buy to raise funds.

I would need to check costs for this 😊

Name tags for teachers

Can we ask teachers to wear name tags, at least for some time? It’s really hard for parents of Junior Infants class who just joined school to remember all teachers. Both at school and afterschool

End of the summer picnic

Really appreciated the picnic organised before the start of the school year for junior infants. Hope it becomes an annual tradition for all classes at school
