         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Where and how did the explosions start?<br>The plant had old, outdated equipment. The equipment wasn't maintained well. The primary explosion occurred inside a sugar conveyor under two sugar storage silos that had build up a lot of sugar dust. This started a number of other dust explosions.<br><br>3. How many people work at the sugar plant?<br>At the time of the explosion, roughly 350 employees were employed by Imperial Sugar Company. The workers helped clear debris, repaint buildings, and clean equipment after the explosions.<br><br>5. How long did it take to rebuild the sugar plant?<br>It took 21 months to reopen the plant. The fire happened on Feb 7, 2008. It had its grand reopening on Nov 7, 2009. </div>]]></description>
