You always demonstrated to us your very positive and can-do spirit which easily rub on the shoulders of others. Your never-say-die attitude has certainly encouraged others to be a better self of themselves. Despite being the very first South Area Cub Scout Day IC after COVID, being very unknown to this major event, you continue to keep your spirit high and lead the unit to another successful event organised by DSG. No one will ever forget how enthusiastic you were as encee during our DSG 101 campfire too!

The number of events you have contributed in is endless.

As we say goodbye to you, do continue to keep in touch and remember, "Once A Dragon, Always A Dragon!" See you soon for any future DSG event!

Thank You Anh for everything that you've done for the unit in your time here. Over the past 10 months, I've seen you go from quiet and introverted to leading the unit at the forefront of events. I've seen you plan major events and execute them with pinpoint perfection 👌🏻. I've seen you stand in front of hundreds of scouts and students leading songs, games and activities. I've seen you and your team in dark days and squishing predicament because of quick turnarounds. I've seen you religiously gathering logistics and preparing activities and projects. I've seen, weirdly, you grow alongside your peers and committee mates through dark times and bright days.

Your commitment towards scouts is one not many can deny, let alone imply. Your presence at scout meetings brighten days and easies pain, in many ways. On behalf of every dragon in DSG, I thank and affirm you for persevering through challenges. To every mishap, dont look back in anger!! To every success, celebrate and use it as motivation! Its tough not to leave a mark 💫💫

Thank you soooooooo much for accompanying me and Cougar these past 3-4 years during our scouting journey. Thank you for always being so cheerful and bright , and for always cheering people up when they are down 🤩🤩. We can always count on you to bring the energy and fun anytime!

We have definitely grown together throughout our scouting journey, and I’ve seen you grow as both a leader and a person. From the shy Anh in Secondary 1 when we both had just joined DSG, to the very outgoing and energetic Anh that we all know so well today. I will definitely cherish the many memories we share together as cougarians and members of the PLC.

I wish you all the best for the future, and hope you settle down well in Australia. We will definitely miss you in school and CCA sessions, but we will check in with you often :) . Thank you for all the help and advice you’ve given to me. And if and when you may ever be in need of help, you can always turn to Cougar and DSG. We will always be behind you, and support you! Onward! Have a safe journey back to Australia, we will miss you 💕💕.

I really think that this letter isn't enough to thank you. You have been an important and a huge part in both my schooling life and scouting life. You and Sri inspired me as good seniors to lead juniors of Dragon Scouts. I feel extremely sad that you are leaving DSG and GESS. It was disheartening to hear the news of your leave. I wish you stayed. I thank you, on the WHOLE BEHALF of Cougar, for leading us, for being there when we needed you. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours!👍

Perhaps it was too short. What I would like to say is that I hope you find success in what you’re doing, or where you’re going, Anh.

I still remember the days when DSG was separated into the red and green unit. Though we werent that close in sec 1, we definitely became a lot closer in sec 2 as we got to interact more with each other. Remember the time when the whole sec 2 cohort got suspended because of the tiktoks? That was when i really got to know how responsible you were, when you tried your darndest to make up for the remaining tiktoks by making me and andre film a tiktok together.

Ill also never forget the time where we went on a cycling recce together. Your ability to stay energetic during those 12h was really admirable. idk how u did it lmao.

Without you, there'll only be jade to bug me about the capital letters in proposals, and no more staying up late to plan activities. I hope you saw this portion of your life essential to your character development, and really treasure these few years youve made at gess :))

Thank you for all the years of memories together in DSG, and also PSL!

Really echoing what many many many others have said, your positive vibes can really be a strong influence to the people around you. It’s amazing seeing how you positively embrace all the challenges and demands thrown at you each time, and never before thrown in the towel or taken it on begrudgingly.

If I may name one memory of you that left a deep early/first impression in me, it was a foot drill session in Sec 2 as we were gearing up for National Day celebrations. During that time, you continued to do your best and marched with pride, despite not being in the initial selection list. But because of this positive attitude and great mentality of yours, you really shine and rise up to the occasion!

Needless to say, you have also continued to thrive in the subsequent roles you have been given, and I am sure many of your peers and juniors look up to you. Thank you for being that positive role model for people around you, and us included. Although we may joke that you are the most short-lived SPL, you are certainly one that has made an impact in this short journey! Hope you will continue to be an inspiration to those whom you may interact with in future and touch the lives of many others!

It has been a pleasure to see your growth as a gessian and a member of DSG. I couldnt help but take a moment to acknowledge the incredible person you are and the outstanding contributions you’ve made to DSG.

Your dedication to scouts is truly inspiring whether its your leadership during camps, scouts meetings, or your ability to shine as a versatile MC. Your perseverance, enthusiasm and calm demeanor dont just make you a capable leader, it really bring a light of joy to scouts.

Seeing you in action has been a great joy especially during camp fire, where your shining attitude is like a magnet, pulling everyone into the wonderful world of scouts.

Anh, i have no doubt that you’ll soar to even greater heights. keep loving scouts, keep forging those fantastic memories with DSG. You’ve made us proud with your achievements and the remarkable growth that you’ve shown. Remember, this is just the beginning. I still remember the time where you were upset after your A math result and stress over the club scout day but trust me, YOU DID AMAZING and all those effort you put in had proven it. You have definitely grow into a great leader that everyone look up to. I really love and treasure the time we had together in DSG and the countless moments we had together will forever be in a special place in my heart

Though we part ways for now, it doesn't mean we won't see each other again. Don't be sad, be happy and await for whatever that will happen in the future. I wish you all the best in your new school and do come back to see us when you are free (or we go find you🤔). DSG is always open for you and your bright smiles!

Once a Scout, always a Scout.

Before last year, before we became PLs, I remember when you helped me with many things. When I forgot things, or when I needed help, you were always a reliable friend that I could trust and talk to. When we were Dragon Guides together, I was nervous and quiet, but you raised my energy and the sec 1s energy too! You are such an amazing person that positively impacts everyone you know!

Both as a PL and as a SPL, you have such an incredible voice and personality that encourages us to do our best. I'm so grateful to know you and I know you’ll continue to do great things! Scouts wouldn’t be the same without you, and I hope you know you can talk to us anytime you need to! I’ll miss you greatly, all the best! Onward!
