He took a knee during the national anthem and sparked an outrage in the sports community. He says he took a knee to fight against racial discrimination and oppresion against people of colour.  Since he has taken a knee, other sports players have been following him. Also, his jerseys sales have gone to number one seller and the money is being donated to charity. 

Our Opinion: We think that Colin is right because there has been signs of racism and police brutality all over the world and we think that it is not right. :(

They say it's disrespectful to the people died for the country and not standing will not show respect. 

Kaepernick took a knee because he is standing up for oppression of black people and not having the same rights as white people and because he is someone of colour he knows that it is not fair.
