The causes of the Great Depression are the Wall Street Crash, people not trusting in banks, dust storms, and businesses going bankrupt. The Wall Street Crash was when the stock market took a big downfall. People not trusting banks was because they didn't think that the banks were gonna keep their money safe, so they withdrew all of their and hid it under their mattress. Dust storms were formed from droughts and heavy winds that blew threw farmlands and killed all of the animals and crops, farmers were losing a lot of money because they couldn't sell any products. Businesses going bankrupt was because people weren't buying any products because they needed to save their money . In conclusion, the Great Depression was a horrible time and sounded very depressing.

I believe the great depression was caused mostly because of the dust bowl. The dust bowl caused farmers to lose their land, lose faith and lose money. The dust bowl left people with no income and therefore banks collapes and the stock market was destroyed . Lastly the dust made everyone pick up their lives and have to move; leaving want was once home. That's why i believe the dust was the cause of the great depression,

The great depression was caused by a stock market crash and a poor economy. The stock market crashed and then people lost a lot of money. Poor economy was caused by the stock market crash and the dust bowl. If those two events did not happen the great depression probably would not either

I disagree with this statement because the "N" word is not that offensive the people who the word is suppose to offend often call each other it. So even with the history behind it I think it is pretty hypocritical to take offense to that word.

The causes of the Great Depression. I think the causes of the Depression are the crash of the Stock Market, many people invested in the Stock Market. Then it failed, people started to lose their trust in banks after they couldn't take out of their savings. Soon people just lost their trust in banks they started not to invest and not buy items. In conclusion the causes of the Great Depression where the Stock Market crash and the banks failing.

"Life today is more difficult than it was in the 1930's" I disagree, today if you can't afford items their are Government programs that could supply you welfare checks, food stamps or life insurance and other people pay for it through taxes so it is free to the consumer.

During the stock market crash people were not able to take out their savings causing people to lose their trust in banks.The dust bowl ruined the soil, so farmers moved to California in hope to buy land and sell crops.

#1) There were many causes of the Great Depression. One being the stock market crash. Then, the dust bowl was a other big effect during the Great Depression. Also, people stopped trusting banks because people were getting bankrupt. In conclusion, those were only some problems during The Great Depression. Unfortunately, there was many more.

#2) "It is important to stand up to people who bully others." I agree with that all the way. It really disgusts me when people see people teasing others and they just sit there and do nothing about it. I think it makes you a coward. If you know you can stand up to someone that's making somebody else feel bad, you should. It literally angers me when people just watch or say "It wont make a difference," because it will make a difference. In conclusion, it's very important to stand up for people that may get bullied.

Some of the causes of the Great Depression was the dust bowl and the stock market crash. people lost there trust because the investments failed, so they stopped investing. The Dust Bowl made a lot of farmers lose their crops and have to start all over.

The Great Depression was caused by several factors. Some of those factors would have to be , the crash of the stock market. Another obvious one would be the extensive drought in the center of the country witch created the "Dust Bowl". These two factors played the biggest role in the depression. When the stock market crashed the american dollar depreciated in value thus creating low buying power. The dust bowl created an environment that nothing could grow in so our agriculture was seriously dampered.

However, without friends and people there to support you, life isn't fun. Friends are there to support you and be there for you, but if all you care about is money, you won't have anyone there for you. In conclusion, I think it is more important to have close friends than to be rich.
